Hotel Willow Banks, Shimla:Review

Hotel Willow Banks is an excellent hotel that probably has not got it due on the popularity charts.

The hotel has an advantageous location being very close to the tourism lift. Amenities at the hotel are top-notch and adequate to guarantee you a comfortable and enjoyable stay. There is a stark difference between their lower priced rooms and rooms available at the next tier of tariff. If you choose to stay at Willow Banks, make sure you do not book at their entry level offering

Location
Hotel is in a premium location as it is just 100 metres to the lift that takes you to the Mall Road. Hotel is on the "No Traffic" zone and thus vehicles cannot drop you off at the hotel. If you are travelling by car, you need to park at the nearby public parking area and walk to the hotel.

Rooms
Cosy, spacious and clean rooms with central heating and wall to wall carpet. Price difference between the Deluxe and Superior deluxe rooms are not significant. Deluxe rooms do not have balconies, while super deluxe rooms have small balcony. Opt for superior valley facing rooms on the higher floors for the best views. Avoid rooms facing the road as they tend to be noisy all through the evening.

Food
In house multi cuisine restaurant and food plaza. There are plenty of moderately priced restaurants at walking distance from the hotel. For instance, the famous Sher-e-Punjab on the Mall road is two minutes away from the hotel.
