Johnson Lodge offers best of everything - quiet location, yet at three minutes walking distance to the Manali Mall Road. Well maintained lawn, lively bar and excellent food. There are two hotels located right next to each other - Johnsons Lodge and Johnson Cafe. Johnson Cafe has an atmospheric cafe and bar while rooms are just a tad better at Johnson Lodge.
In case you are wondering who is Jimmy Johnson? He was the erstwhile land owner of most of Manali during the days of Raj.
Rooms
Rooms are clean, large and comfortable with all neccessary amenities. Tariff of rooms in Johnson Lodge are marginally higher than that at the neighbouring Johnson Cafe.
For those travelling in groups,there are comfortable double two and three bed room cottages.

Location
Johnson lodge is literally just off the Mall but in a quaint lane. Though at the epicemtre of Manali town, the hotel is insulated from the hustle and bustle of Manali market area.
